Ding Dong the Witch is Dead; Round Toe Shoes

I personally am a very big fan of pointed toe shoes and boots, love them, don’t know why.  Boy if I had a quarter for every witch joke……I could buy another pair!!! 

Lucky for me, I am not alone, pointy toed shoes had their day and will again, but round toe shoes are walking back on the fashion scene for 2008. 

Popular back in the 1940’s, round toe shoes are showing up on the catwalks, magazines and stores. Round toes are usually found on pumps but they will are a feature of all types of shoes: oxfords, boots, mules, wedges and flats.  Although they are not my cup of tea and I may not jump on this wagon, I do agree they are adorable and of course comfortable to wear. 

They seem to have a girly, flirty quality and most crucial, if your toes are not “peep worthy” they are a god send for the fashion conscious. I try not to give it too much thought, but when wearing pointed shoes its best to have some height, being a glamazon is not necessary.  

A very nice feature of round toe shoes is they can be worn by all heights and are flattering on most folks.  The fact they are flattering to all makes it such a fun and worry free shoe, and isn’t that what we are all looking for?  Seriously, with this shoe all you need to do is worry about the color and they style matching your outfit and then getting on down the road...
