Any thing transparent wispy and sheer. Fabrics like silk organza, tulle, and netting are being used by the yards for beautiful accessories and clothing. Try these fabrications on pins, hair accessories, scarves, and gloves. Definitely go girlie; this is your second chance to pull off a huge cute bow in your hair. Try a sheer silk organza blouse or pocket square with your work suit, or go full on in a gorgeous pleated skirt or dress for an evening outfit.
Feathers. Feathers were in this past fall, in bold jewel tones, but for spring the reappeared whites, creamy tans and light pastel colors. Feathers are showing up again on hair accessories, pins, gloves, earrings, belts, shoes and clothing. Feather coverage ranges from just a hint to fully on feathers. So you can be a little chick in a pair of dangly feather chandelier earrings, headband or pin or fly like an eagle in a feather skirt, dress or jacket.
Pink. Pastel, Shocking, Hot, Bubble Gum, Fuchsia or Magenta, in any shade, pink is in full bloom for spring 2008. Pretty much every designer is using pink this season for clothes, accessories and shoes. There are many beautiful petal inspired pieces to perk up your wardrobe, try a pink peony headband, a dress covered in rose petals or a fuchsia silk baby doll coat. For spring 2008, think pink.
