Hopefully by now all of us have made progress taking off the winter pounds, and just in the nick of time to work this white hot look for spring 2009. The womanly hourglass figure has returned as one of the major silhouettes for the coming warm weather.
This trend started last season with very wide corset like belts. Spring 2009 brings this shape to high waisted pants, skirts and dresses. Whether they are slim cut or the full 40’s pajama look, pants are being shown with high waistlines and details that have a nautical or bullfighter’s attitude.
The cut gives skirts and dresses a sexy retro look that is right on time. I am a big fan of this hot look but unfortunately not every Fashionista can wear it successfully or comfortably.
Give this look a try but, in shape or not, it’s just not for every body type, and that’s the fashion gospel truth.
