There is lots of fashion advice out there that is solicited and unsolicited. I think there are “rules” that would make the world better dressed and accessorized. What it usually comes down to is just plain ol' what feels good and what you like as opposed to what looks good and is in style.
I agree if you just don’t have time or you just don’t care then so be it. But for those of you who care, there is no excuse; there is help out there. Recently I have come across several lists and there are repeat offenders that pop up over and over on different lists for example” no white shoes after Labor Day”.
I thought it would be interesting to think about some No-No’s for guys so I came up with 10 of them that I think are just “so not attractive”. Bear in mind these are my opinion, but I think most gals would agree with me:
1. Black socks with any shoes other than black
2. White socks with any shoes other than sneakers
3. Any color socks with sandals, need I say more?
4. Overalls unless your under 6 years old or a housepainter by trade ... (and that’s iffy).
5. Carrying a murse, man bag or fanny pack. (Mister Moms are excuse, if there are diapers are inside)
7. Novelty items, ties, boxers, hats etc, etc etc.
8. Wife beater t-shirts as shirts (but I think they look great on women).
9. Neckwear that is not a tie or a well hidden sentimental piece
10 Anything Polyester- enough said.
