Right about now a lot of fashionistas are dreaming of vacations in warmer weather. For those of you who have it like that; you’re already shopping and packing. You are among the chosen few who designers create the new fashions coming down the runway right now Resort. I forgive you all.
This time of year as fashionistas know is called Resort which could be considered the 5th season because so many designers create specifically for this time of year.
What’s hot for Resort 2009 is anything that says hot, hot brights like fuchsia, orange and jungle green. White is always a favorite for warm weather and this coming season is no exception.
The silhouettes are body hugging and body baring plunging necklines, off the shoulder. ruffle accents at hems necklines and cuffs. And Floral prints and solids. Accessories are just as hot in bright fabrics and leathers. For jewelry, shoes and handbags: Turquoise is hot, so are chains silver or gold. .
Resort 2009 also is giving us a first glance at an accessories trend beginning, coordinating your shoes and purse. I have mixed feelings about this, it took me a while to deliberatly and mix and match, but it will make fashion major daily decisions pretty effortless.
