The one shoulder trend is still white hot thanks to a few fresh twists for warm weather. This trend is working every which way but out.
Normally I am not a fan of the one shoulder but the more I see the fabulous fashions for summer 2009 the more it’s growing on me. I don’t know what it is exactly that swayed me, but I am definitely taking a second look. From evening dresses to swimwear one-shoulder is everywhere.
Mix it with accessories, big and bold necklaces, bracelets, and cuffs. The sleeves are going from sleeveless to full on to the wrist. Elegant touches are being used to accentuate the one shoulder. Look for flowers, gems and other textured embellishments.
I still may not indulge in this since I am a little self conscious in the bust, but I am loving the power of the goddess look this season -- on others. It is truly elegant.
