Bows, they are everywhere you look for Fall/Winter 2008. You name it, and it’s got a bow on it or in the case of one purse I saw in Elle, it’s shaped like a bow.
Generally bows are reserved for little girls, gifts and weddings but they are all over and clothes and accessories this season. I myself am a big fan of bows, the bigger the better. I was so pleased to see them start appearing in magazines this summer and they have arrived full force.
From hair accessories to belt, to shoes, to handbags they are everywhere. Huge bows that are usually only cute on the backs of little girls dresses have cute, sassy and sometimes downright sexy look on we big girls.
Part of the fun of this accent is the very creative ideas that some designers have come up with. Along with bow accents at the waist, neck, or closure, bows are showing up bigger than life and on handbags, shoes and bustles.

Bows might not be for everyone but I have noticed more women can pull it off than care to dare. I am definitely going to be sporting this fashion accent and since the holidays are so close I encourage all closet girly girls to “tie one on”
