Silver and Gold tend to take turns for center stage each fashion season, for Fall/ Winter 2008 its Gold’s turn.
Every designer seems to be going for the gold in 2008 when it comes to clothing and accessories. We fashion followers saw a little of this influence over the summer, but its coming on full force for fall.
Gold is also a favorite when it comes to fashion hardware and jewelry. Designers are spinning some fabulous golden fashion items this season. (Die hard silver fans, like myself, luckily will always find something silver to which to remain loyal. )For those of you who want to go bold with gold, dare to wear one golden garment this season: a great idea is a gold trench coat, skirt or dress, but with subtle leather or fabric accessories.
For those of you who can't commit to a full on golden garment, try a great gold or gold tone accessory. One idea is a clutch bag in a gold tone or with exaggerated hardware, Cleopatra inspired jewelry or a wide belt with a bigger than life buckle.
Being a gold-digger is right in style so shine on.
