The accent on femininity this season is currently so strong it has a fantasy dreamlike feel.
Ultra sheer fabrics and soft colors that are normally featured for warmer seasons are showing up in store windows, magazines and catwalks. Fashion designers seem to be doing a salute to fairies, princesses and tree nymphs.
Clothes and accessories are so whimsical and you can’t help but feel like a real live girl in them. Flowers, crystals,and poufs of fabrics usually worn in the evening, are making their way into the daylight for work and everyday wear.
Pair a romantic accessory or blouse with your work clothes or favorite jeans for a beautiful contrast. Soft colors like pale pink, pale grey and cream seem to be favorites.
This fantasy theme is also carrying over into makeup and hair accessories. For hair: up or down ,long or short,; anything goes as long as it romantic. Wispy, loose buns, tendrils, pony tails and short tresses alike can be adorned with one of the many beautiful hair accessories or pins on the market.
You can be a princess or a fairy long after Halloween and no one will say a word; but they may look twice.
