Watches were a big hit over the early winter months and as gifts for the holidays. We saw men and women’s watches with lots of bling, color and in all shapes and sizes. The styles are many, but classics seem to be the must-have style du jour.
Watches are an obviously useful fashion accessory and they regularly take their turn in the spotlight for both men and women. I love the look of an old-world style watch, something that has a little Ivy League edge to it. Looked for polished gold with a quality leather wristband, so classy! They've got incredible character: retro, and understated, something you might see on Cary Grant or Audrey Hepburn.
We are seeing the same fashion trendsetter names and a few new ones with more class than sass. Whatever your budget allows, you will be able to find a watch to keep you in time with the fashion world.
The choices run from high end, big ticket watches from Baum Mercier, Ebel, Bulova and, Movado, to newer moderately priced labels like Fossil, and good ole Timex. Whether it’s a metal or leather strap, large face or small you will be right on time this season with a classic timepiece.
One frugalista tip from me, I have a very cool man’s wrist watch. I alternate from the metal band to the black or brown leather depending on my outfit. Keep your eyes open for watches that come with wristband sets. They are great timepiece maximizers.
Right on time,
