With the holidays upon us, it's time to trade in your cozy everyday weekend clothes for some hot party looks. Time to bring on the festive and this year that means silver and gold in accents or full on.
I tend to be more of a silver fan, but this season gold looks to be the first choice of many... just my observation. Somehow a gold or silver sequin gown can go places on New Year’s Eve it just can’t the other 364 days of the year. If you’re not ready to channel your inner Cher though, there are lots of ways to wear your precious metal of choice.
1. Fabrics with gold or silver accents like brocade and metallic thread.
2. Sequins, period
3. Jewelry, oversized chokers, chains and bib necklaces with matching larger than life earrings
4. Handbags,shoes and boots with stud accents
5. Belts and handbags with oversized hardware
If you’re on a budget, don’t fret, you can get a sprinkle of this trend with rings, hair accessories, shoe clips and even make-up.
