How do you wear a romper when you are over eight? Relax this is not the romper that you remember from jr. high or another traumatic fashion time, but a sexy citified version.
Rompers with high fashion flair are showing up in quite a few designers and brand name collections. With delicate feminine straps and a rainbow of colors, including basic black, these fashionable pieces have a little girl cute and casual feeling but in a very grown-up girl way.
This fashion trend is not as difficult to pull off as you might think. There is quite an array of styles and colors, the trick is to pick something age and body type appropriate. Basic black is perfect for a sexy evening look. Try pairing a black romper with a pair of summer 2009's hot shoe styles. My suggestion is the gladiator or cage shoe.
For the fashionista that has terminal cuteness, try a romper in white linen or a madras print with flats or this seasons short ankle boots. For the more daring, try a romper embellished with sequins, lace or embroidery for a fun alternative to the cocktail dress; don't forget a great belt or oversized necklace and you're dressed for some grown up girl fun.
