When you just don’t know what to wear.
Right about now, holiday parties are in full swing and will be going non stop till January. Between business and personal life, chances are there is at least one party in your future between now and 2009.
So the question is not “to be or not to be”, but more like “what will I wear to the PA RTY?” This problem is usually fun to solve but not so skilled fashionistas definitely welcome tips and answers from their gurus.
Of course the easiest answer is to buy a fabulous outfit for the occasion but most of us don’t have that luxury all the time and will be running from the workplace to get our party on. Luckily a great foundation for a party outfit is the LBD (little black dress) or the working girls LBS (little black suit)
A couple of suggestions to go from work to party are:
1. Add Bling This can be done with accessories like a bejeweled handbag or a fabulous necklace, bracelets or cuffs.
2. Fabulous Shoes - This is self explanatory but it’s the gospel, a fabulous pair of shoes has the power to transform.
3. Red Lips - Yes, yes technically not a garment, but the right lipstick can, turn even a bare face into instant glamour.
If 1, 2 or 3 don’t solve your party problem, any rational fashionista would agree you have no choice but to go shopping.
