Sequins, glitter, black dresses and champagne. These all are perfect for New Year’s Eve celebrations. If you're into the event big-time looking hot is a requirement (except if in Times Square where warmth is priority #1). If you are spending the night fireside relax and enjoy. Many of us going out, however, are wondering how to sizzle on a budget.
The easiest option is by accessorizing what you already own. Start out with a simple outfit…maybe your favorite little black dress or a black top and bottom combo. Next add one or two accessories that really sizzle such as:
Embellished tights - Try fishnets, lace, jewel encrusted, bright colors or basic black.
Scarves and Gloves - Feather, faux fur, metallic, long and cashmere
Fabulous clutch or handbag - check out something bejeweled, reptile or patent leather. For a quick and easy complete outfit, match your shoes to your handbag.
Over the top shoes - Boots, wedges, heels or flats. Make sure you're comfortable enough to dance the night away. If not sneak a cute pair of flats into your purse for when the clock strikes midnight.
To top it off add one piece of statement jewelry, maybe a sparkly cocktail ring or some killer, over sized earrings. Statement necklaces and bib necklaces add instant glam to any look whether you’re going for casual or dressy. You can also add chunky cuffs or bracelets. Don't forget the hair accessories.
For makeup, accentuate one area. Either go with strong eyes with lots of liner, sparkle and shine or dark and sexy. For strong lips dark red lipstick is a winner 365 24/7
