Spring 2009 seems to be all about more, more glitz and more color. Accessories, shoes and clothing are really fun, over-the-top, ornate and colorful, almost whimsical.
The monochromatic trend is so easy any fashionista expert or newbie can work it. It’s simply dressing in all one color, that is, your upper garment and lower garment are solid and in the exact same color. The fabulous thing about this trend is it works perfectly with most of the other fashion trends that are hot right now. Dressing in one color is slimming and gives you a perfect background to show off this season’s unique accessories and shoes.
This is one of my favorite trends of the coming season. I am sure most of you know how to work the “dressing all in black and wearing fabulous shoes or accessories” look. This season try bright red or pink and with even brighter accessories. For you faint of heart fashionista wanna-bes, start slowly with just a great fitting pair of slacks or skirt with a form fitting top and carefully, carefully add accessories. This fashion trend is so easy you could get dressed in the dark or with your eyes closed.
