Most of us will be spending the next couple of months trying to stay fashionably warm. One of the best fabrics for this time of year is the knit . Although knits are great for keeping you warm and toasty in the cooler weather, lightweight knits like sweater dresses are often clingy or overly boxy in all the wrong places on your body.
I am happy to stick with my knits in the form of hats, wraps and stockings, but if you've got it flaunt it baby. Blessed by body you can skip the shapers and definers on the market that many of us have to turn to to wear these styles. Here are a few other suggestions regarding which style looks best on which body type. These styles are sexy...and warm. Lovin' that come January.
1. Wide Hips - An empire waist creates a slimming effect and the bell shaped skirt just barely skims the body.
2. Tummy - Waist less trapeze cuts are the best because they hang in a simple pretty way.
3. Large bust - Look for a smooth fit in the middle (or wrap style) and a slightly flared hem.
As noted, look problem area shapers for the smoothest look possible. I'm still sticking to hats and scarves with this one.
