There are a couple of trends that this fashionista will not be working this spring 2009, and one of them is the revival of the jumpsuit. I don’t know if they are back, never left or where hiding but they are here for spring 2009.
I have seen some very interesting designs but if it’s possible to stereotype clothes, jumpsuits just bring to mind certain images for me, and Glamazon isn’t one of them. I see astronauts and parachute jumpers. If I was forced to wear one I would definitely opt for one of the softer looking jumpsuits that some designers are offering.
If you’re a jumpsuit fan then you will be in heaven. Jumpsuits are being shown in all the latest colors and prints. There is quite an array of embellishments to choose from for your jumpsuit. Name your poison: Buttons, zippers toggles as well as cords and buckles accent the jumpsuits strutting down the runway and gracing magazine pages.
So if you absolutely must, then you might as well jump on this trend for spring 2009.
