This time of year just rings out “shop for new accessories!!” There are holiday gatherings and parties that all girls must look their absolute best for! Not to mention that you can't be caught dead at the mall with last year's look! Trying to make that great holiday impression may be a little frustrating at first, but with a few key accessories, you can make anything in your closet shine.
1) A great bag! No girls, don't short change yourselves in this department! A good bag speaks volumes of who you are and what you stand for! Make sure the bag fits the outfit and the occasion. For goodness sakes, don't try to put that leopard oversized duffle bag you carry your gym clothes in with that sweet little cocktail dress. BIG NO-NO! Instead opt for that great “juicy couture” for daytime fun. If your day includes shopping, then why not look stylish in a “Francesco Biasia?” For evening opt for a small, yet sophisticated evening bag. If your dress is simple, go for the glitz in hand!
2) Shoes! Another category you simply can't skimp on! A pair of shoes can make or break your day. Remember when you chose to wear those ridiculously high stilettos for a day of hiking through the mall…or sightseeing in a new town? Although traditional black is the color of choice for most partygoers, a neutral metallic will make all jewel tones and pastels look dynamite! For a long day of shopping a “wedge” heel clog or low heeled boot is highly recommended! Why not go for those sweet little ballet flats you have been dying to buy?
3) A pretty scarf! Not only will that pashmina keep you warm, it will give you that air of fashion. Anyone can throw on a jacket, but a wrap says “ladylike sophistication” Wear it with a monochromatic sleek skinny pant and turtle neck. You will be sure to turn heads!
4) A great watch! Although that watch you are wearing can tell time, it should also be a key piece of jewelry you own. Think of this as an investment. A watch can last a lifetime and if taken care of, should out-tick you! A good, classic watch says “grown up”. Although, it is okay to kick around on the weekends with your favorite sports-watch!
