Jeans are one of this season’s hottest trends and since they have started to go to work, on dates and to dinner, it's only natural they be considered when putting together outfits for the holidays.
There will always be people who don’t accept jeans as appropriate for all occasions but they seem to be the minority. With some of the price tags I have seen, you would think jeans could go any place -- even black tie, but that’s a bit extreme. Unless you’re going to a black tie event you may want to consider wearing jeans over the holidays. One word of advice: be sure to check out the dress code or venue before you get your jeans on this holiday season.
Here are some ideas to festive-up your fav jeans:
1. Boyfriend jeans, velvet blazer, pearls and velvet flats
2. Cashmere twinset, pearls with skinny jeans and patent pumps.
3. Distressed jeans, miles of bling or pearls and Chanel jacket.
4. Skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and a faux mink.
5. Boyfriend jeans, shooties and an oversized cashmere sweater.
6. Skinny jeans, sequined tunic and sequined embellished flats.
Be sure to find a pair of jeans that are appropriate for your shape and are comfortable. It’s a lot of fun to get dressed up for the holidays but if you’re on a budget or just not the market for some new holiday duds a great pair of jeans and over the top accessories can be a perfect holiday outfit.
Tis the season to enjoy fine jeans,
