New York Yankees 1951 Authentic Wool Jacket
The 1951 season marked the 50th Anniversary of the American League. The New York Yankees continued to build upon the legacy of their franchise by finding a young Mickey Mantle in Commerce, Oklahoma. Mantle, who was named after his fathers favorite catcher, became known for his tape measure homeruns. The Yankees, led by American League MVP Yogi Berra, found themselves playing in October for their fourteenth World Series Championship. The Yankees defeated the neighboring Giants for the World Series title.
